Profile

Studied under Yujiro Takahashi,
the Grand Master of Takahashi stream.
In 1986, he traveled with Yujiro Takahashi
to the U.S. as part of the Agency for Cultural Affairs' overseas cultural exchange delegation.
Starting from Canada, he has performed in 25 countries.
In Japan, he has performed with Ayako Fuji and Sukeroku Taiko. He regularly gives recitals in Tokyo, Ishikawa and Kanagawa as part of the“Tsugaru no Hibiki” recital series. He also gives dedication performances at shrines and temples, and performs in traditional Japanese music andMin'yo performances.
